We are excited to introduce a new material to our collection which allows us to create low-maintenance jewellery that you never have to take off, all at a lower price-point than sterling silver and gold.
Our Essentials Collection is made from a high quality stainless steel base, with PVD 18ct gold plating on top. It is hypoallergenic, durable, won’t tarnish, and is hardwearing for everyday wear. It’s also waterproof which means you can shower, swim and sweat in it without it tarnishing. That said, we do recommended taking it off in chlorine or saltwater to help your jewellery last longer.
It uses PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) plating which is an advanced process that bonds a thin layer of colour to stainless steel at a molecular level. It creates a finish that’s more durable, fade-resistant, and longer-lasting than traditional plating.

Our Essential jewellery is designed to be super low maintenance and durable, but if you would like to ensure it looks its best for longer simply follow these simple steps:
Clean it: Wipe gently with a soft cloth to remove oils and residue.
Avoid harsh chemicals - perfumes, cleaning products and abrasive materials can dull the finish over time.
Store it well: Store your jewellery individually to avoid scratches.
Occasional rinse: If needed, rinse with lukewarm water and dry thoroughly. Although you can technically wear it swimming without immediate damage, chlorine can dull its finish over time, especially with prolonged exposure. We recommend removing it beforehand or rinsing it with fresh water after exposure to saltwater or chlorine.

This collection is inspired by some vintage jewellery my mum gave me from the 70s and 80s. I was drawn to their simplicity; That quiet sense of quiet luxury that went with anything. Without even thinking about it, I started wearing the earrings and gold chains everyday, on repeat. Weeks went by, and I realised I hadn’t taken them off once. I loved how they connected me to the past and felt so timeless, effortless, whilst making everything look…well… better.
I wanted to recreate this feeling for life today, but more accessible than solid gold. So The Essentials Collections were born. Vintage-inspired jewellery but waterproof, hardwearing and hardworking for everyday. But keeping that design from the past I so loved… and once you find what you love, you’ll never have to take it off.
